Veneers
VENEERS
Veneers are thin porcelain ceramic shells that are bonded onto the front surfaces of the teeth. They are matched with the shade of your teeth and are a great option if the underlying tooth is strong and healthy.
Veneers can be a great option if the teeth are chipped, discoloured, slightly misaligned or have gaps between the teeth.
During the procedure a thin layer of the tooth surface is removed which will allow for the veneer to be glued on. Molds of the teeth are then taken so they can be manufactured. Once manufactured another appointment will be made to glue the veneers on.
Teeth Whitening
TEETH WHITENING
Sometimes due to surface stains (through diet and lifestyle), age, poor oral hygiene, certain medicines or tooth injuries can make teeth discolour.
Teeth whitening can be an option for many people to lighten the colour of the teeth however, not everyone is suitable for teeth whitening and will need to be assessed by one of our clinicians for suitability.
There are two types of whitening systems we offer:
Take Home Whitening - We take molds of your teeth and make whitening trays which are issued by one of our trained clinicians, you will be given whitening gel and instructions on applying it at home along with dietary advice and maintenance instructions.
In chair Whitening - A procedure that takes around 1.5 - 2 hours where a stronger whitening gel is applied and monitored by our trained clinicians giving you a more instant result.
We offer 20 minute complimentary appointments to assess suitability for whitening.
