Payments
NO RUDE SURPRISES! Yay!!
It is practice policy at Word of Mouth Dentistry to always quote in advance whenever possible. So you won't get any nasty surprises at the payment desk! Our reputation is built on Trust & Care.
CLAIMING THROUGH PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
We also accept all regular Private Health Funds including BUPA, AHM, NIB, HCF, Medibank and many more! Your claim can be electronically processed on the spot saving you time and effort claiming it manually that way you will hopefully only have to pay the gap payment and not the full amount. Which means there is normally no need to have to go to your health fund to get a reimbursement.
To enable us to process an electronic claim all you will need to do is bring your own valid private health insurance card to your appointment, without a valid card we will not be able to process it electronically and you would need to settle the full amount.
All accounts must be paid in full at the time of service we do not issue accounts. We accept cash, cheque, VISA, Mastercard, AMEX and EFTPOS.
PAYMENT PLANS
Should you require payment option plans you can make an easy fast online application with MacCredit once approved you can start smiling even more!
Finance will need to be obtained with MacCredit PRIOR to your appointment with us.
DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
We also accept Department of Veterans Affairs Payments so simply bring your Gold Card to the appointment and we will process the claim and payment for you.
In some rare circumstances prior approval from Department of Veterans Affairs must be obtained before we can proceed with treatment. If this is required our clinicians will notify you of this at your appointment.
Our lovely front desk team can also arrange transport from your home to our practice for those card holders eligable through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Please inform our front desk team if you would like transport to be arranged when booking your appointment. Arrangements normally need to be made PRIOR to your appointment with us.
MEDICARE - CHILD DENTAL BENEFITS SCHEDULE
Some children are eligible for no out of pocket cost services under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule. If you are eligible you should have received correspondence from Medicare informing you of eligibility. If you are unsure if you are eligible you can contact Medicare to find out.
In most cases we Bulk Bill for these services. Medicare Bulk Billing is available for entitled children under the scheme whilst adequate funds are available. Must advise of intended use PRIOR to appointment. Offer excludes all other Medicare programs & some treatments.
